The Hawks come into Game 5 after beating Milwaukee 110-88. With the win, the series is tied at 2-2. However, hawks star Tre Young was injured for the game leading to the Hawks having to put in a big team performance to secure the win. Six Hawks players were in double figures, with Lou Williams leading the way with 21.

Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo only had 14 points after having to leave the game early due to injury. Gianni’s status for Game 5 is yet to be determined but is listed as doubtful by the team. If the Bucks are going to get back on track and take a series advantage of 3-2, the team will have to step up to support the loss of their star player. They will look to Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton to lead the way on Thursday.

“We’ll see how he [Giannis Antetokounmpo] is tomorrow,” Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said. “We’ll take everything as it comes. We’ll evaluate it. We’ve got a heck of a team, a heck of a roster.”

Tonight’s Hawks vs Bucks live stream may be one of the most injury plagued games of this postseason — and that’s saying something. Giannis has been ruled out for Game 5, while Young’s status is still uncertain — meaning both teams are left hoping someone can make up for talent that may be sidelined for this NBA playoffs live stream.

Tuesday, the Bucks and Hawks added to the litany of stars (which include Kawhi Leonard, Joel Embiid, Anthony Davis and Chris Paul) who have missed time this post season. The Hawks won Game 4 despite Trae Young being out with a bone bruise suffered in Game 3 when he rolled his ankle on an official’s foot.

Then in the third quarter of Game 4, Antetokounmpo hyperextended his left knee and did not return. No word yet on either’s status for Game 5, but word is that there was no structural damage to Antetokounmpo’s left knee.

Before Giannis’ injury the Hawks looked to have control despite Young being out. Veteran guard and all-time leading bench scorer, Lou Williams started in Young’s absence. Williams scored a game-high 21 points with a team-high eight assists. Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 20 points while shooting 6-for-14 from three. In total, six Hawks finished with double figures in scoring.

The Bucks didn’t have as much luck trying to fill the void left behind when Antetokounmpo left the game at the 7:14 mark of the third. Milwaukee was already struggling, scoring just 16 points in the second quarter, then they scored just 36 points total after Giannis left the game. A lot of eyes will be on Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday in Game 5 as they will try and step up if the two-time MVP can’t play.

The injury bug didn’t stop biting after Giannis. Hawks’ center Clint Capela took an elbow to the face in the fourth quarter of Tuesday night’s Game 4 and is questionable for Game 5. Capela went to the locker room at the 3:28 mark of the final quarter with a towel on his face.

The Bucks host the Hawks in Game 5 as 2.5-point home favorites. The over/under is 216.5.

Injuries continue to have a huge impact on the NBA playoffs. Budding superstar Trae Young missed Game 4, a 110-88 Hawks victory, due to a bone bruise in his right foot, and Giannis Antetokounmpo exited the game in the third quarter after suffering what the Bucks are calling a hyperextended left knee. With the series tied at two games apiece, Game 5 will go a long way in determining who advances to the NBA Finals. Will the Bucks rebound, or will the Hawks take a 3-2 lead? We’re about to find out.
